Bernd Röbbel

I live at the border between Germany and Denmark, right in the middle between the Nothsea and the Baltic Sea. So I'm the most nothern Schleswiger Draught Horse breeder in Germany. I successfully breed Schleswiger Draught Horses since 20 years ago, to perpetuate this race of Horses.

My breeding is grounded on horses with good characters, healthy basements, good fertility and expressive agitation. The foals grow up in natural herds and they are educated to a riding horse or a carriage horse when they are old enough.

Most of my foals have won foal awards and they are successfully raised until their bonitation.

Among others, the following horses were chosen for breeding:

- the stallion Samson (2003)
- the stud Veilchen (2006) - elite stud of the breeding foundation
- the stud Woge (2007) - elite stud of the breeding foundation

I already had Heavy Warmblood horses at the farm I grew up, when I was a child. The black colour of theses horses is dominant and it was ever-present since then. In 1997 I bought my first two Heavy Warmblood foals from the area arround Bautzen. They were educated to riding horses and carriage horses.

In the year 2000 I baught a breeding stud, which was trained to a dressage horse at the national stud farm of Redefin. After that I educated this stud to a carriage horse by myself. The offspring of this horse is to be eyed up at my farm, as well.
